Thinking of buying a Goerend tc and valve body but can't drive to Iowa to have them install it so I guess I will have to do it here in San Antonio. If yall know anyone who can install for me that would help out alot thanks.

I would try Austin Drivetrain in Austin, Tx. From what Ive heard they know there stuff and do good work. Thats were I go for drivetrain parts and what not.

All Star transmissions in Marble falls. It's a little far, but well worth the trip. Mark does great work and will get you in and out of there quick.

yeah tex i am in san antonio to and i have never heard anybody around here that specializes in dodge diesel or diesels in general.but to just install a torque converter and a valve body,you could tackle that by yourself.

thanks for the input guys, and Chadwick I would love to do it myself but I would rather leave it to someone who has done it before and knows what to do and what not to do.

I used Coxxco trans at Huebner/Babcock for a rebuild on a 97. He (Eddie) guaranteed it for 3k/3yr and to haul whatever lbs. I wanted. I towed a 5k boat w/it for a year w/zero probs. Thinking about taking mine there for atleast the VB but I need guages first.
