aluminum bed liner worth anything?

I have this full aluminum bedliner and I'm not sure if its worth anything now that you could get a line-X for less than half.I called and asked how much to build one including the floor mat...WoW....over $1,600.Was thinking about cutting up the liner and use it for boxing,if I ever decide to install stacks..Can't post pics....Got something wrong that Madhat is looking into..

Its a two piece rubber mat about 3/4 inch thick, and that thing is heavy..The liner sits on top of it.Have it in the truck till I figure out how to prevent things from sliding around.....That is one downfall of the line-x.

Sorry. I was hoping it was a bit heavier to use on another project. However, too light for my requirements.

How much ya want for it, and im still a little confused as to the bottom, it looks like the rubber goes into a chanel in the aluminum?? Does is have aluminum on the bottom and just have a lip on top to hold it down or is the rubber sitting on the original truck bed??
Thanks

Hey Fred rock...The rubber mat goes on the bottom of the box and the alumuim liner sits on top of the mat. Then you bolt the liner through the liner and through the mat...If you notice the lip along the liner, thats where the bolts(lag bolts) go through...I think there is about 40 screw holes...As for price I have no idea yet..
