What, not taking the prizes home??? Barry was driving the fastest Dodge at the NADP event wasn't he??? (I'm not bitter, I mean most guys filled his pockets to get there, what do they need a trophy for??)

But I digress, Aaron, You're in!! LOL...
Yeah...barry drove it....but it is all Mike drevers truck, every cent spent was mikes not barrys.....thats why his dually did not compete.....and could not win the sled pull....even though he was the abvious winner by 20 or so feet.

My guess, 875

I'm guessing 230-250hp and mid 500s for torque

Well last time I dynoed I was on a superflow dyno and ran a 970 im hoping to have new sticks for this event and I would like to say around the 1050 mark....but I would think its safe to say I will be between 950 and 1050....If everything goes good.

Lil Dog you werent the only one that felt that way about "Mikes" truck winning the fastest truck award..... ut what can you do.

So heres hoping for 4 digits.

I would love to crest 400 RWHP.. I got 360 peak at McWynnes with a pegged pyro and he could only peddle it for 330.. With the new blower and sticks, I hope to be at least 40 hp higher..

Well I drove my own Truck in olds so Im thinking I will be running my own truck at this one too. I don't think they want to be responsible for the truck if anything goes wrong with it.

We tried playing that card at the shop and they said no. Something about insurance.. Personally, the way they "tied" the trucks down, I would put anything over 450 hp on that thing. You guys with close to 4 digits would pull right off the rollers. IMHO of course... It may have taken 10 minutes to hook up at Sub, but at least you knew you weren't going anywhere. Again I rant.... Sheesh...

Do you have to be strapped down from the front and rear with a dynojet? If they have to strap from the front I hope they go to the front axle. Long story short, I don't want to be strapped down from my winch bumper.... As for driving I would prefere to do my own also, but if not possible I will just close my eyes and look the other way while my baby gets abused!

I know they better have it strapped down hard for the dyno on ullydogs and PDI's Dyno crossed strapped to the axle it would pull up hard on the dyno looked like it was going to break the straps. So they better have it strapped hard.......

Well if I can't drive my truck I will at least sit with them in it so I can see what all is going on.

Well i got the free spin kit in and it drives way better. I also installed the dss. The install went good only took me about 5 hours for everything. The only problem i had was with the outer shafts, i had to grind them a little to fit them in the hub. But o well, there in and they work good. Hopefully my milage goes up and no more wheel bearing problems.

OK talked with Martin @ AFI finally, looks like $90 per truck fully catered was our best option.

but the other options were $80 per truck. Or $120 hr for as long as we want it. and he runs a laid back shop, no "dyno ****" as he called it. if you want to run, come off try something else, and go back on thats no problem he said.

now I'll try to answer all the questions

- duallys are OK as is, hes done them before with no problems. didn't even mention weight. so don't worry about it.

- strapped front and rear, front to diff or pull points.

- he'd prefer to run the vehicles on the dyno for safety sake he said. but he wasn't opposed to letting you run your own truck if you felt comfortable doing it.

- what else anything? I can't recall I'm in the really tired zone........

Calgary guys want to hook up and caravan up the #2? or something early Sat morning/

Demon,

Sounds good. I think most guys are worried about guys trying to spike the dyno by jumping the throttle or hitting the brakes at the end. I would think a quick how-to by the operator and most of us would know how to operate. I don't recall any mishaps at Sub.

I'm just curious, my tach (alternator triggered) isn't working the greatest and I don't think is as accurate as I'd like. Would this affect my truck running on the rollers. I went to the last dyno event and watched others run their trucks and found that RPM played a large role in getting a good accurate run on the dyno. Am I being paranoid or am I onto something here?

Dodger, I would be very pleased if my truck layed down 260. Eventually I'd like to get it sitting at 350hp
