Garretts are on the top of the list right now, although I do have a number for a guy in the states selling BD's for $3300 AMD. The BD's are a known quantity, but the garretts would just be cool!

 

What happened to the ones at turbochargers.com?

 

Those are $3400, so I'd be saving $100. Still looking at this point, nothing is final. I've got prices on the BD's, so I'm trying to scrounge up prices on the Garretts, then I'll start my decision making process. I've got a spare engine, and gonna have lots of spare time, so fabbing a set of twins would be a fun project I think.

The step over 400 to 500 is where the money comes short. You will need to do some head work. That being said, your not wanting more air, well, thats not healthy so you are going to need either twins or a biggggg huffer. Water is good for about 50hp usually and is cheap to refill... I am contemplating that approach myself.

More fuel, ie. delivery valves, injectors and more air... The never ending battle for more power...
