The last shop I worked at didn't have a porta power, so every cross member was beat out, then beat back into place, you can beat it back in place but you will have to start the bottom side of the cross member first as its tapered and will help you get the top of it in. But I like lukes idea of bending the tabs in, and I think i would use that if I didn't have access to a porta power.

Okay so I managed to round up all the bolts BUT ONE!!!

I am hoping that someone might have one of these in there bolt pile.

It is the metric 10.9 bolt with the 12pt head that holds the tail shaft onto the transmission on an NV4500. I just need one.

Help please.

Thanks Rob!!

Time to finally put this thing back together, so I can find my fuel leak, and then maybe build some twins...

Thats funny, considering its Brett's turbo that I've laid claim to. If you give that away, you better scrounge up that S595.

You should scrounge up that S595 anyway, that S480 won't be near enough air for Tate... It will be too much air for me...

I can go and get one of those S595, but someone better use it.

As for the S480, first come first get to run. I do have a T-88 collecting dust as well.

I thought that the deal was the first guy that used it owned it.

Luke, lots of variables. You want to run twins or a big single? Tate's/Brett's truck have lots of fuel. Tate's will rev till 5000 rpm's and Brett truck seems to have a tons of fuel out of his 215 P pump. We are going to build-up a set of twins that has a smaller secondary than normal and use a larger than normal primary. Of course there are a few Airdrie sunk wurks secerts to get everything to work right.

If no one uses the S480, it goes on my 10 truck No worries, its not like we are going to run out of turbos to choose from anytime soon....

Its just time and beer........

I only have a little bit of fuel, Tate has a LOT of fuel.

Speaking of fuel, I found my leak!!! The joiner hard pipe that goes to the return line (about 12" long) had rubbed on something and put a pin hole in it. I welded it up this morning, and just need to let it cool, and it can go back together.

Going to add some sheathing to protect it from happening again.

Now I just need to get the E-brake sorted and it can go back on the road.

Would be nice to have twins on it before I leave for abby at the end of the month, it just doesn't seem very feasible. So a really hot hx-35 will have to do.

Luke, can I borrow a manual ISB 12v data/tech book. I'm building up a 12v and there some good factory info in those factory cummins manuals. I have a dodge manual for 01 (its close, but not really).

Anybody have an idea on how much piston to cylinder clearance sled puller use? I know Brett and I have discussed this a few times.

Brett, I have enough parts to do the build, I think we could do it. S475 under that 35 would sweet, plus a few tweaks.

or we could go and get a rebuild on that S360 of yours....

I was thinking around the 15-20 thou and getting the pistons skirts ceramic/teflon. My 01 dodge book shows a pretty tight piston clearance. I thought the stock pistons was a forged piece.
