I had a 4in BD exhaust. It used to have the drone, but I think that all the soot clogged up the muffler holes and fixed the drone as it went away about 2 to 4 months after it was installed. I just had to hook the truck up to my trailer and put my foot onto the floor. After that I liked the sound, its sounds a lot more manly than my magnaflow 4in system that I have on now.

I rather listen to my radio than the exhaust these days.

 

Hey Mike....Sure wonder how many guys put there muffler on backwards like I did and complain that the muffler made no difference...All these years,I've been putting straight through mufllers on backwards....Thats why my mufflers made no difference...

 

Dave, I just think that we go thru difference stages in life. When your younger you want a loud muffler, so you put the muffler in backward, so you can impress the ladies.

When you get middle age, you put the muffler in properely so your wife can sleep in and you might get to come home after work.

Its just a matter of preferance, so I guess. I'm still learning. Sorry I didn't call you yesterday.

 

Your right.....I don't need the noise or the attention any more.
