2006 injectors
okay guys so my truck is making oil, doesn't smell like diesel, no loss of coolant. but it must be diesel, nothing else it could be. I'm getting about 18-20l/100 in the city (calgary) driving which doesn't seem too bad.
I put on a 2 micron filter this year but all of a sudden started making oil in this last oil change.
is it worth pulling my injectors and getting them tested? or should i just get new or remand ones?
where in calgary is the best place to take them to get tested?
best place to buy new/remand ones?

It could just be a bad o-ring on the injector, causing the return gallery to leak into the crankcase. Pull your valve cover and see if there is diesel up there.

18 to 20l per 100 is very bad.... my work truck with a 6.2 gas engine running pretty much all day idleing etc, is getting 15 and I never take it out of 4x4 either.

Probably the injector cross tube issue. Either loose or bad o-ring.
I wouldn't run reman injectors myself. I can find injectors for ya if you want, I'm an Exergy Dealer. Probably the best injector going is from Exergy, they smoke less than industrial or BD stuff. They rate their nozzles on oversize percentage.
I have a few good used 4.5-07 old style injectors still, but those things are like a time bomb.
The cheat skate jober reman's can be had for around $2000.
Biggest injector I would run is the Exergy 50HP without CP work or extra cp's. With the right tuning, you can drain rail pressure fairly fast with 50HP nozzles.
