Water leak.

After a rainy day/night. I get some water coming out of the driver side top (bolt)pillar cover. I've removed everything and there are no obvious signs of where the water is coming from. The water seems to collect in the top cavity of pillar. I tried tightening the roof clearance light and the third brake light. I figure if I bring it to the dealer they won't be able to find the leak anyway. I've tried to dupicate the leak with the hose and no luck there...Any Ideas????

Only thing that comes to mind is the roof clearance lights. They could have overtightened the screws and maybe cracked the plastic or just bad seals. Mine used to drip from my visor on heavy rains. Good luck in the search.

If you have a sunroof the drain tubes are clogged or its the gasket on the clearance lights.

Thank you. I did use low air pressure to clean out the sun roof drains. But I was told that there are four drains. I only checked two of them. So I'll check the other two tonight....Then wait for some rain....
