Chipmunks in the heater fan?
Chipmunks in the heater fan?
Well I guess I have or had chipmunks in the fresh air/heater system.
I found where they had crawled up in between the noise dampening blanket on the bottom side of the hood and built a nest of all the insulation material and then one died in there.
I thought that was it but I guess not. I need to take out the fan motor box and the tubes that connect it to the outside and to the heater core box. Looks like it's ahead of the glove box. I need to also figure out where the air intake for the whole fresh air system is so I can screen it off. Those chipmunks are industrious critters and will probably be back.
Tips anyone?
Thanks
