Hey folks,
I own a 2000 5.9 so I don't usually hang around this part of the board but I have a question and I figure this is the best place to start. My brother-in-law is looking at a 2013 Ram pickup to tow a fairly heavy bumper-pull cargo trailer for his business. He mentioned the other day that he was looking at a 3500 SRW. I seem to remember that the 2500's actually have higher towing capacity than the 3500's. I have been searching the web for a table comparing the towing capacity of the two trucks and I can't find anything anywhere. I know I have the table somewhere for my older truck. Does anyone know wher I can find something stating the actual approved towing specs for the 2013 Ram trucks (it will be a diesel and autotranny btw).

Wow some pretty impressive numbers, there is an increase of 1600lbs on the GVWR from my 2011.

 

Thank you also for this link, though I'm not sure how much stock I put in a press release (or whatever this is) in which the parent company of the manufacturer of these trucks spells Cummins with a 'g'...
