Does anybody know if the wiring on the factory projector headlights matches the wiring for the 2 or 4 lamp standard headlights? My truck has the 2 bulb garbage headlights and I just pulled the trigger on a factory order half ton diesel for the wife in a very loaded outdoorsman. Unfortunately, it will come with the standard 4 lamp halogen headlights as well. Has anyone tried to install the newer projector style headlights in an older 4th gen that didn't have them? I'm perfectly comfortable with cutting wiring and soldering on different sockets if required and I have a scan tool that should be able to switch the headlight settings in the tipm. Just wondering if they will fit or even just plug and play?

I actually went back to the quad lamps and HIDs since it was better light dispersement. But to each his own.

My buddy put them in his '12. He got the stock 13+ projectors and a harness, they work well. I have LED's in my stock 4 bulb headlights and they both put out roughly the same light
