Hey,

I've got a 2012 ram 3500 crw cab long bed with the touch scren radio. When I turn on the satallite radio there is static in the background.


The best way to clearly hear the static is to turn the radio to channel "0" station Id. But on the regular stations you can still here the static in the background.
Any ideas?

 

I'd take it back to the dealer and have it fixed under warranty.

 

I took it to the dealer yesterday. They said they hear the static but can't find anything wrong. They sent in a cable to Ram and they don't have any suggestions. the dealer said they even looked a brand new ram on the lot and that radio was doing the same thing.

They said to just wait and hope Ram comes out with a fix down the road.

 

Id demand they start replacing things until its fixed. My truck never had any static. Any other new one should not have any either.

 

My truck has no static ether !
