I am thinking of ordering a 2013 RAM 3500 Crew Cab 8' bed 4x4 diesel auto SRW. I was going to order options that may raise the curb weight over the 8,001 lb. limit that CA has on the "pickup" classification. Will this become a issue with added DMV fees yearly. I could do the bed liner, gooseneck hitch etc. after delivery. I am not sure this truck would weight under that weight bare bones. I am not worried about road fees but other fees and inspections.
