In Reference to the comment made earlier in the thread about the farm/ranch use of the trucks....
In this part of west texas, the roads are not always the greatest when you get on the ranches. Several of the roads on my ranch make it hard to navigate with any type of long bed truck...get high centered or put it in one hell of a bind. The mega cab as it is now works great for me.
Now..if i was on the road all the time pulling a travel trailer or a large horse trailer, I would definately look into the conversion.
the only problem would be the necessity of needing four city blocks to turn around
