Might pull the triger and order one. Very nice. It had the 4:11's and seemed to run high RPM's at 65 almost like it was not in OD, My 04 with 3:73's does not rev as high, Where should it be at 65 not that I would get the 4:11's. They also told me at least 12K for my 04 with 120,000mi

 

4.10s with SRW I'm seeing about 1950RPM at 70mph. Very nice acceleration with the 4.10 gears, too....

 

I pulled the trigger a month ago on a 3500 drw. Got yhe 3.77's so I can't help on that account. I too had a o4 quad cab four wheel drive 3.77 short bed, I got 14000 for mine and paid 43 for the big horn. Still getting use to the width. Love the new truck, I had right at 100K on the old one. Hope this helps.

 

Remember it will depend on what transmission you get...I have 373's and turn right @ 2000 @ 70mph but I have the G56.

 

3.73, 2000rpm @ 80mph with auto here

 

4.10 with the auto will see nearly the same rpm as the 3.73 with the manual. 3.73's with the g56 is like 4.10 in earlier trucks with the 5600. g56 is geared lower. Remember driving an 06 g56 with 4.10 before the removed 4.10's as an option with manual trans, and it was steep. Felt like 4.56. I would get 4.10 with the auto, but thats my preference.

 

Does it run it 5th or 6th at 60, the auto is double overdrive correct(4th is 1 to1)

 

Runs in 6th a @ 60mph and right @ 1500rpm. Dont know about the double overdrive to be honest. But it feels like 5th is the 1:1 ratio.
