heater not blowing heat on driver side

2012 will not blow hot air out the driver side of the truck. The passenger has hot air but the driver side only gets cold air. It doesn't matter what position the the selector is in defrost, vents, or floor. it codes as actuator #1 and #5 as failing. I understand that #1 is behind the glove box. When I took the glove box out and switched the selector from floor to defrost it actuator #1 would move I am not sure how much it should move or if it moved the door in side. could the door be broke off ?

HeaterTreater has solutions for models up to 2008, a bit short for your needs, but their site does have good info on all the doors and how they are supposed to operate.
