get a 2012 or 2013 ram
i am looking at getting a 3500 ram with 6 speed and crew cab drw. sales man told me to get one before they start useing def. is there a differance other than having to add the fluid. are they going to be harder to delete. i would like to save a little more before i take the plunge. or would i be better off with a 2012. any advise would be helpful. thanks

Well, the 2012 C&C already have DEF, and are not that difficult to delete. Few extra steps involved, but nothing major.
The 2013's may have the updated interior just like the 1500's but that has yet to be officially released. That will be the major two differences.
Not to mention if you hold out for a little while on the 2012's the will be getting cheaper by the day with the 2013's coming to the market.

thanks for the info. the sales man said if i ordered one now it would come without the use of def fluid. i want to order one so i can get vinal floor instead of carpet. i trust you guys info more than a guy trying the make a sale. but i dont have to have that option if the price is right.

good point. the salesman that i talked to said that dodge is going to keep the manual trans for right now. i think that i will wait a bit and see how the new scr engine works out. from what i have read they should be better than the previse engine. please correct me if i am wrong. have not read a hole lot about them.
