Will a 2013 EVIC cluster work on a 2012? Curious :)

I really like what they did with the 2013 cluster/Evic, but not ready to trade in my 2012 for one. Any body know if the 2013 cluster/Evic will work on a 2012?

Just curious.. I know its a bit early but wondering if the plugs would be the same and if thier are any firmware dependances..

I haven't done any research and just got back from vacation but my best guesstimate is no, from what I understand they are using hi speed buses more to transmit the information that's displayed rather than just a couple of wires from a sensor.
