Anyone know how to activate the compass on the EVIC on the ST model?

I did not have to activate mine (SLT). When you are in the menu can find "calibrate compass"?

Calibrate compass does not show on EVIC. Dealer told me that I don't have the option, which I knew. They also said it would be impossible to get the compass. They also didn't think they could activate Remote Keyless Entry untill Saturday when I took in the instructions from this forum. They followed instructions and I now have RKE. On another forum I read someone had the RKE activated and got the compass in the process. I was hoping this would happen for me, but no luck.

Willey, did you ever figure out how to do this? I'm getting the RKE flipped on tomorrow and was wondering what else I could get! Thanks!

Wow, no wonder the taxpayers are bailing out the auto manufactures. Compass and RKE are added options? I thought that stuff had been standard for many years now.

The fact that you can activate RKE on a model not equipped shows that it does not cost them a penny more to have this "option" come standard.

I think that couple with things like smaller tires and no aluminum wheel option demonstrates that they are really trying hard to force a justification in the price difference for an SLT versus an ST. I think the ST is the best value out there.
