2017 OEM Bumper

Hi I have a new 2017 Ram 3500 Black Edition Larmie, I have it at a body shop for a insurance claim and the worker popped the clutch and smashed into another car. They will replace the front bumper and paint it for free. My question is, where would the marking be that will show its a OEM Mopar bumper, I dont want them to put on a aftermarket bumper. any help would be great.

Thanks

Technically, new truck repairs are supposed to stay oem until they are at least 2-3 years old (could be longer, I don't remember). I'd get the part number from the dealer and tell the body shop that they have to order that specific bumper.

Also, unless RAM changed the design or the material, the crossmember that holds the radiator and the headlights, basically the entire front end above the bumper, can break easily. I smacked a light pole about 6 months after I bought my truck. Going only about 10 mph, and caught the right corner of it. Needless to say, I avoid cutting across parking lots, especially if they have light poles everywhere lol. It cracked the entire crossmember from the right to the left side. I'd open the hood and inspect for that damage. Look where the headlights are held down and see if anything is cracked there as well. Truck should have been done in a week or two. Took the body shop over a month because they had a hard time finding that part in stock.

Also check to make sure it didn't damage the radiator, trans cooler, or A/C condenser.
