Well after a 2 year lull after my divorce, a Kia and a QX56 I am back in the saddle of a CTD. Man it was a painful 2 years. Say hello to my new truck.

He has his truck. Us that ordered 1 tons or higher have not heard anything on our trucks. Mine still says that it in final inspection. Heck it's been that way for a month. They must really be inspecting it hard or "getting in there"! Nice looking ride.

Up here, they have gotten the manual trucks in for the 13's. that's it

VERY nice truck! My dad is considering trading in his 2010 on a 2013 Megacab 3500 (with the Aisin), I'll have to show him yours .

Also is that just black or one of the darker browns or blues?

 

Looks great! Are the headlights HID projectors?

 

I can answer this, because I was interested too. Unfortunately they are not HID projectors, but Bi-Halogen projectors. Basically that means they are a projector lense, but with a standard halogen bulb and two-position "shade" to switch between hi/lo beams.

 

That's unfortunate. I was hoping they'd made the switch to HID. I just ordered HID conversion kits for my high, low and fog lamps so I'm really interested to see what they look like.

 

That's a nice looking truck. Three questions -

1) what axle ratio is it?

2) what are you seeing for mileage so far?

3) since you're in Irvine, is that a CA smogged truck? I don't know if there's additional smog equipment on the CA trucks at this point....

I'm considering a 14 3500 and am wondering what the mileage for the DEF trucks might be....
