News FLASH - 4.10s now available on 2013 3500 SRW Laramie
Not sure if anyone knows what had been happening, but the short story is, I wanted a 2013 Crew 4x4 Laramie SB with 4.10s. 4.10 were no where to be found on the Laramie or higher trim so I had to order a Bighorn.
My dealer, who happens to be close friends with a friend of mine, started asking Ram what was going on... Today, his regional rep appeared and that rep got on the phone and started making calls, especially to the Ram Advocate... Now 4.10s are appearing for order in the SRW 3500 Laramie!! Yeah!!
So if you had ordered a 2013 and was told 4.10s are not available, but wanted them, call your dealer and have them check again. If your trim is still not showing availability, have your dealer contact the Ram Advocate and question why....
Good Luck!!

I wish they'd get the stuff on the website...it's a bunch of cr@p if you can go in to a dealer and order but you can't spec it out online. I would like to upgrade my wife's to a 2013 and forget about trying to delete the 2012 with all the boot locker flashes and the fact that nobody sells a delete tuner anymore that would combat the boot locker software. Not that I'm a fan of taking the truck to the dealer for anything but if I had put money out for a tuner and then have an issue and get the truck back and not be able to tune it anymore I'd be less than happy.

I'm starting to think they haven't updated the website for 2013 HD is because all the options are in flux... Can you imagine what kind of hell a dealer would get, if they couldn't order a truck that the Ram site allowed them to build?

When the parent company releases the options list with "Cummings," you know there's something wrong and the entire document becomes suspect. And the fact that they were no longer offering the most popular ratios makes absolutely no sense at all.
