Good Morning All

My 2010 dodge 4 wheel drive 2500 with 6.7L had the ball joints replaced last week at 70,000 miles. In the process it was discovered that both the u joints where bad.

Dodge dealership solution was to order a right and left front axle. I did not feel like paying the extra dollars. Upon further investigation it looks like the u joint are larger than previous year models.

Cup Diameter is 34.9mm or 1.375"
Lockup Dimension is 127 mm or 4.99" to the outside of cup, but is an inside lock up u joint.

All other information on the if read on forums and websites take about a 2.92" lock up and I have a u joint on those specs. There is no way it fits.

Does anyone have any info on this or a place to look.
