Hello folks ,just did egr full deletes ,thorttle value delete today,H&S mini max and five inch flo pro turbo back last week on 2011 laramie cc lb G56.Love the extra power and the better fuel mileage.turbo started whistling more and sounds like rubbing on some thing when pushing her hard .Been reading all the posts and like them all,any help on what my turbo, its got me thinking
Mine did the dame thing.... From what I gathered from reading thorugh the forums, it is just valve noise and its perfectly normal on a deleted truck....
Since I deleted mine, it has sounded like I have an exhaust leak, but i gueee that is normal too...

Well,i took the air filter out and check the turbo to make sure it was'nt rubbing on the inside of the housing and all looked good ,going to town today so i;ll she how it goe's today.hope it is all normal, thanks
Check the rear blanking plate hold down studs. When we did the G56 truck my son tightened them down but one of the studs wasn't in far enough and the nut was thread bound, it was very close but the plate lifted on one side when underpressure. All it took was a washer and it was good to go.

Funny enough, im getting something similar now. Almost like a pop off valve at around 30 psi of boost.
First thing I check was the plates. No dice. No leaks.
Been trying to hunt it up for a while. Seems to be on the exhaust side of things, but just cant pin point it.
Not really concerned with it though. As the head is gonna be off the thing in a couple of weeks anyway.
Good info to pass along though.
