DPF Delete

Hey guys, I am new to the site and Dodge all together. I have gotten rid of my 06 F-250 for a 2010 3500 Laramie Dually. I am looking to add a DPF delete kit and a programmer. Any specific suggestions or experiences? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

I believe the only unit that will work right now is an Edge, check out there sight.

If you hold off a bit, H&S has a programmer they are about to release. Smarty shouldnt be far behind.

Im obviously a fan of the Smarty.

Thanks, I just checked out Smarty's site and it loks like nothing available for trucks made after March 4 '09. Guess I'll hold out.

I sent an email to MADS bout 4 days ago and was told they are working on it.

Bob Wagner has made comments on another site that it is approximately 3 weeks out.

Take that at face value.

It is worth the wait however

Appreciate the info. I work on a drilling rig in N. Louisiana and NE Texas (Haynesville Shale area) so we're in somewhat of the same industry.

Nice ride and welcome. MADS is pretty true to the word on release dates, if Bob says 3 weeks, you can hold him to it. (Another MADS Smarty fan!)

Can anyone please tell me about how often the exhaust filter cleans itself? I've only got 2K miles on my truck so far, mostly highway. I haven't seen any messages letting me know it has, unless I didn't notice it. From what I understand I will definately know when it's cleaning itself. It's starting to worry me.

If everything is working as designed you basically won't even know it's going on. A truck with a late build date like yours has been pretty trouble free from what I've experienced. Just make sure you keep the ECM updated.

i have got about 5k on mine as well and i have never gotten a message. i have noticed that when i am on a trip and have the cruise set if i watch the instantaneous mpg i notice that every now and again the mpg will drop 5 to 6 mpg. this only last for a few miles and then it goes back up.
