obd port lock?

Does anybody know of a way to lock up the obdII port. i need to take my truck in to have the windshield washer reservoir fixed under warranty and i want to make sure they cant get into my ecm, as they have no business getting into my ecm, but who knows what they do when you take you in. any ideas?

I've tossed around a few ideas, but if you are worried, I would unscrew it and zip tie the obd port somewhere high and out of sight under the dash...even go as far as taping the end really good in case they have someone that likes to seek destruction when you hide something from them and they search for it and if found, they may try to plug into it....but if its taped and hidden, they shouldn't even bother.

I am very interested in this as well. I have 2 trucks I need kept locked. Although h&s has done a great job on thier product and not needing to return to stock. All you gotta do is reflash after dealer. But theres always that chance.

If you loosen the wires just a little the whole OBD2 port can be inverted and mounted back into the same location, this works well if you have a programmer plugged in as it gets it up out of the way.

With the truck under warranty still if they happen to look don't you think the port being missing or covered might cause them to investigate further? Just asking?

I suppose a cheap way to disable it and know if they tampered with it would be to go to a truck stop and buy a couple door seals like they put on the cargo doors of a semi trailer.

and make sure the service order says DO NOT FLASH and is signed by you and the service writer. even talk to the tech if you can before they work on it.
