obd 2 port broke

so I have a 01 ram 2500. when I bought the truck the obd 2 is broke off an just the the wires are hangin.. I stop at the local junk yard an picked up another one the lady gave me. only problem is the color are not the same as what I have, would the obd ports be different from a gas to a diesel? or does somebody have the wire pin locations or a diagram for it?

Plug is the same.

Color code should be as follows.

Ok, the number should be on your ALDL connector, should be molded in, can't remember if they just identify 1 or they identify both rows..

Anyway, the small number shown at the ALDL connector is what pin location it goes in. The number and lettering shown on the wire is standard Chrysler nomenclature, for example, loot at the wire that goes to pin 16, it is from circuit M1, and is a 20 gauge pink wire, thus the designation M1/20/PK.

Make sense?
