The Hamilton 178/208 cam is a solid upgrade for the 6.7, especially if you want better low-end torque and improved airflow. Here’s what to consider:

Better Low-End Power: The 178/208 cam is known to boost low-end power, which is helpful for towing and daily driving. Many people notice stronger throttle response and smoother power delivery with this cam.

Stock Components: It works well with mostly stock setups, so you don’t need a lot of extra upgrades to make it work. But make sure you have good valve springs to handle the cam’s profile.

Fuel and Airflow Upgrades: To get the most out of it, some people add a bit more fuel or airflow. It’s not required, but it can help you see more benefits from the cam.

Tune Adjustment: You might need a slight tune adjustment to get the best results with the cam.

Overall, the 178/208 is popular and usually works well on a 6.7 if you’re looking for a step up from stock.
