Just got a 2010 do I need to get a pyro?

Just got a 2010 mega cab. I had a 08 I did all the deletes on and had to drill and tap exhaust for pyro. I just went to get another H&S mini max and the guy told me I don't need to get a pyro the 2010 already have them? He says it will read it. Please help these trucks suck stock!

My 2011 doesn't read the factory EGT, I do have the H&S mini maxx with pyro and it works great. After we deleted my kids 2011 and tapping the exhaust manifold I decided on my 2011 to just drill and tap the rear EGR cooler delete plate before installation, this was much easier to do and no chance of breaking the tap in the casting.

You will need to tap ex manifold above turbo for best results I wouldn't recommend using egr coller block off plate it's about 300 degrees cooler than outlet my truck set on 40 horse tune never saw over a 1000 that's even towing heavy 16 k

This is an old thread but what are my PYRO options?
I'm told a BD sensor station with PYRO will work with a mini Max.

Yes, your 2010 should already have a factory EGT (exhaust gas temperature) sensor. The Mini Maxx tuner can read this sensor directly, so you won’t need to drill and tap for a separate pyro like you did on the 2008.

Just make sure the EGT sensor is working properly and that the Mini Maxx is set up to read it. This should save you some time and trouble compared to your last setup.
