I just got off the phone with a rep. from banks. They will be pushing tuners out as of march. Race tuners will have DPF and EGR delete capabilities. I have always ran all banks performance parts on all my fords with great sucess. I know everyone talks about the smarty but what make it such a great unit?

I guess the whole "Respect the DPF" crap got old.

Maybe they want to jump on board with the "Smoke Boys" and actually make a nickel or two....

 

I liked the Banks Monster exhaust on my 04.5 diesel. It was reasonably priced and offered the best warranty, lifetime. The Smarty Jr was, at the time the only untraceable programmer on the market. The Smarty Jr was also one of the few that didn't mess with the fuel pressure. It offered very smooth power. No experience with the Banks but steered away from Banks based on other's experience on these types of forums.

 

That's cool, with anything you buy as long as you are happy with it then great.

I had a banks six-gun with speedloader. Thought it was great too until I received some education.

I bought a smarty... sold the Banks really quick afterward. Smarty runs circles around anything Banks put out.

 

dont hold your breath, they lied to you. they have been telling me that for the past year, as well as the intercooler. i have had an 09 intercooler sitting in my bedroom for the past year because they thought it fit a 2010. stupid me threw the box out the day i went to install, so now im waiting for a new one to come so i can put the wrong one in the new box and ship it back. 1 YEAR IN MY BEDROOM $1300.00 JUST WAISTING THERE. they did this with the intake and super scoop as well
