Greetings, Just an update. I bought my 2012 2500 CC LB 4WD ST in May of 2013. The 13s were on the lot, but the self-absorbed dealer warned me about the dreaded DPF. Scary! So I got the 2012. Power and throttle response were, let's say less than I anticipated. Had to do something. I like simple and easy, so a Smarty JR with a turbo to muffler pipe and I was good to go. ME capable Smartys were drying up, but I found one. Deleted at 5k miles; I unplugged everything and set Smarty to 100hp, unplugged it and set it on the shelf. No fuss, no muss. Now, 50,000 miles later, the truck runs great, MPGs are up about 3 and oil changes are 7500 or so. Warranty is on me but, in Cummins I trust... There is no support from Smarty for us outlaws that use their product illegally. Funny how a lawsuit makes people act.
Now if that 68RFE could get a clue.
