2014 - RAM 3500 Crew Cab
Good morning from Newfoundland.
I want to buy a 2014 RAM 3500 CTD crew cab 4 x 4, with single rear wheels and the 68RFE transmission.
Does anyone know if the factory is set up yet to build these vehicles as one of the dealers in town can not build this vehicle for me.

Not exactly pertinent to the 2014, but I'd like to hear a reason not to find a 2013 sitting on a lot and save? I see our local ads showing $10k-$12k off MSRP currently.

There are still quite a few 2013 3500's kicking around. I had a look at some of the dealers Canada last night. The dealers in Edmonton, Alberta show 400+ RAM 3500's on their lots. Here in St. John's, Newfoundland there is only 1.
It seems to me that Dodge is not very organized this year. The only reason that I am going with them is because of the Cummins engine.

Even with the oil patch, with the 2014's coming out, I would not want to be a dealer with 90+ 3500's on my lot. All of these vehicles not sold would either have to be rebranded as 2014's or sold at a discount.
Well over here they are lots of 2012 and they won't budge off the price of $70.000 for the long horn I have told them I could go across the line and save 25.000 they don't care!!!
You obviously haven't been to Alberta. All they do is dealer transfers and these trucks will be gone. They can't rebrand vehicles.
