2011 OFFROAD upgrade questions?

I am trying to make a decision/purchase to complete the deletes on my 2011 6.7L. Blake has been kind enough to post a "Guide" to help all of us do this and I have read it about 100 times. I have also been doing research on this every day since the day I bought my truck. Here is what I have been looking at and I need advise. Understand that I rarely tow anything, this is my daily driver, I do not have emissions to worry about, I want longevity, and would like the posibility to return to stock without too much pain. Also, pretty much everyone has the same prices. Anyone know someone who gives military discount with free shipping?

EXHAUST:
Flo Pro 5" turbo back w/o muffler or w/ muffler
Flo Pro 4" turbo back w/o muffler or w/ muffler
OR, any other recommendation that would be equivalent.

TUNER:
H&S XRT Pro w/ or w/o transmission tuning
OR, any other recommendation that would be equivalent.

INTAKE:
Not sure if I even need one??

EGR/COOLER DELETE:
H&S EGR Delete w/ cooler removal or w/o cooler removal
OR, any other recommendation that would be equivalent. Also, why do some companies use coolant lines and some just use plugs? Do I need the Fuel rail PLUG or the SHIM or BOTH?

FUEL:
Do I need to upgrade the fuel system if just doing the tuner and exhaust deletes?

TQ CONVERTER:
With these mods do I need a billet torque converter?

OIL FILTRATION:
Should I go with the fancy AMSOIL filtration system or just an upgraded filter?

These are just some of the things on the top of my head? Any other recommendations please let me know as I want to do this ASAP. Thanks for the support

Exhaust, depends on what you want sound wise. I ran 4" with the factory "muffler" and it was pretty much factory quiet.

I think I may go 5" on the new one. Aint decided yet.

Tuner, Im gonna be a Smarty holdout, unless Marco goes to waiting too long. I dont have to worry about the tranny tuning now, but I would look into it. The 4th and 5th upshift at the wrong powerband is known to roast the clutches on the 68.

Intake. You mean on the filter side, or the engine side????

Im gonna do both. Simply because Black Ops has a no frills intake that does the throttle valve delete and is pretapped for a boost gauge for like 350 bucks.

Deletes, well lets see how to put this.... Go big or go home. Full deletes for me. Fuel rail shim, unless your spiking rail pressures I would not worry about it. If you are spiking rail pressures, your gonna have bigger problems. Ask Mike or Scottys opinion on raising rail pressures.

Fuel mods. The stock fuel system is adequate for mild tuning. Im gonna do another Glacier Diesel MK2 with the big line kit for additional filtration though.

Mild tunes you should be ok with the factory TC.

Some people believe in additional oil filtration. It cant hurt. Look at your longevity goals and weigh your options. There are a lot, and I mean a lot, of high milage Cummins out there with just the factory filtration system(s) in place.

TUNER:

Shibby Throttle Valve delete.

Any other items I am forgetting before I get the delete going?

I am definately getting the MK2 set-up. How hard is it to install?

For monitoring, is the display on the tuner and digital computer on the dash not good enough. They will give me EGT's, Trans temp, etc... What gages should I install? Boost pressure? Fuel Pressure?

Whoops, missed you got the mini maxx Wasnt thinking....

MK2 is a super easy install. Specially if you do it while deleteing and have a bit of extra room to work with. 20 min install tops.

Truck is running great. The exhaust was vibtating against the spare tire heat shield so I tried to rotate the actual exhaust but that did not work due to the Hangar location. I might remove the heat shield or just bend it. I will take a closer look if its not raining today.

I am curious about the throttle valve delete.
Is it really needed, and if so why?
I plan to change the exhust pipe, and do the H&S tuner with cooler delete.
I will install the plates and pipe myself.
But was unaware of anything else needed.
Thanks

Some will say that the TV Delete is not required. I just took the advise of Blake and his "Delete" tutorial.

Basically if you remove the component from the system then there is absolutely no way it will close. The TV Delete allows for a little better flow and cleans up the engine bay really nice.

My recommendation is to do the TV Delete.
