18’ 2500 4X4 Laramie Extreme Mod’s (New to Fam) Deleted

I’m back and with that bye bye to the old truck and hello to the 2018. Stand by for a full list of mods, sig changes, and many many pics. I’ll call this the “Extreme Delete” which is when a truck with less than 10miles, zero registration yet, undergoes an immediate transformation!!! I’ve been gone for years but those that followed New2D in the past know I do things slightly different. I’ll just say 1600+tq on my daily driver is a 100% guarantee.

No takers

well the truck is amazing. No load drove 795 miles on a 31Gal tank. The digital gages said 0% fuel, 23.9mpg. Calculated I got 26+

Not sure why so much better than my 11’ but I’ve got EFI Live now and a few other changes that were not available in 2011-2013

if anyone has any questions as to how to successfully accomplish a delete on an 18’ lemme know.

Also, if anyone wants a zero mile full emissions system then PM me. Everything from the grid heater to the EGR cooler to the head bolts to the exhaust and full DEF system. All hardware, sensors, 100% flawlessly complete. I don’t need it that’s for sure

@New2Diesel I saw you referenced quite a bit in Blake's post way back about Deleting the 6.7: A guide to making it run right! (4th Gen Section) UPDATED 6-6-11. I have just bought a 2018 2500 that, externally, looks pretty much identical to yours!! I am HIGHLY interested in the list of modifications that you did to yours as well as a suggested order for doing them as I am on a fairly tight budget and will need to do my mods rather slowly over time. (EDIT: So after sending this post, I found the list of mods in your signature. However, my question regarding order as well as mods that need to be grouped is still valid.) This is basically the truck I've been dreaming of since I started driving with the exception of it is missing the manual transmission. (Missed being able to order this by just a few weeks.) This truck is my daily driver and I intend to drive this baby till the wheels fall off or I die, which ever comes first!! Any and all guidance/advice will be greatly appreciated!!! Oh and FYI, I'm in Texas, so I believe the possibilities are endless for the foreseeable future with regards to emissions controls, etc.

Hang onto the parts. Depending on the election I feel the Feds are going to lean on the states to monitor deletes. No compliance,no highway funds.

Thats an awful lot of warranty to void. Personally I wouldn't touch it until it has a good amount of miles on it. Even new truck with just 10 miles on them have issues.

Warranty? In these trucks there is onboard electronics that can be controlled anywhere there’s WiFi.

Your vehicle issues related to warranty are controlled by external sources so my best advice is to leave it to expert technicians who maintain these trucks for a lifetime. My trucks having all kinds of drive ability issues now and I cannot find anyone to correct the issue. I’ve got no choice but to leave it to my higher power, whom I call God, and pray about it daily. Anything is possible as I’ve chosen to give it all to my God as I understand him.

Egr

I just purchase my 2017 2500 cummings with 42,000 on her. Love the truck.I live upstate NY. Upstate they dont to emissions on deisel (yet). I wish I could do the deletes as I have 7 yr 140,000 warranty that dont want to voild it. I like the clean exhaust as a pose the dirty smelly exhaust. But wanted to some how disable the egr. Blake mention to zero them out. What are your thoughts and what tuner would you adjust
