Tire pressure

Just looked the tire pressure on my way home with my new 2014 SRW and yowza, 83 PSI.

What are you guys running in SRW trucks? I'm thinking 65 front and 60 rear makes more sense for the 18" tires and no load.

that is the maximum tp for that tire.. unloaded should be half that. of course that is dependant on how you want it to ride and how the tire wears..... also how much weight you carry.i used my dodge for daily transportation...
pulling my fiver was the only time i ever exceeded 70 psi, i usually got 70,000 miles out of a set of tires.
i now have about 275000 miles on it.

Mines a daily driver as well. I might have to adjust it like you guys and see how she does now. Have any of you noticed any difference in MPG's running lower pressures?

Tire Press.

I bought my 2010 2500 two months ago. On the test drive, the ride was terrible. Stopped home and checked tire press. The prep kid had all four tires at 85 psi. As I only haul occasionally, I backed off on the tire press. The ride is a lot better. Talked to our local tire store, and the owner said for a 10 ply tire, to not go less than 60 psi. I run 65 psi in front and 60 in the rear. Hope this helps.
