Alright fellas so I have an St/tradesman and I've done some nice but cost effective stock upgrades.

Buddy upgraded to an 8.3 and gave me his 5.0. I just tapped in the backup camera last week so now I have a rear camera in the rear view and the radio screen.

I just purchased a 7" evic for $150 (my goodness these things can be expensive) and I'm having it programmed to my mileage and hours for $175. I'll have it done in a few for $325.00, Guy on Flebay is charging upward of $1000 for the same thing.

I'll post some pics when I get time but man my little ST is getting pretty fancy!

I have to get remote lock/unlock next, using a key to open the doors is a huge pain.

What have you guys done??? Let's see.

Ok so just to follow up.
Installed the 5.0 radio and wired the back up camera. Now the camera shows in my rear view and the radio screen, but I lost the ability to play music through the aux/iPod hook ups in the center console ( it still charges, and I've been told MY 13-15 are compatible MY 16 they changed something and it's not compatible. Of course my 5.0 is from a 2016).

Then I installed the 7" evic. Man it's awesome, but I lost the ability to see the outside ambient temps and the ability to name my trailers and select them. Seems the 5.0 radio and the 7" evic aren't communitcating as they should.
I can still use the trailer brake settings but I can't name and store them for my trailers.

I've been told I can go to the dealer and they can activate sales codes through the computer but I'm not sure I want to pay them to mess with it.

Anyway just fyi

Ok so my trailer setting are there but I can't save the name, but I can set up 4 trailers and it will save the brake settings and mileage. So now I'm happy again.
