Made the jump to 4th Gen
Sadly, my 3rd Gen (03.5 SLT Sport QC Dually Auto 2WD) was sent to the tow yard in the sky about a month ago. Actually, I bought it back and sold it for more than buy back and it's being redone into a work truck.
So, I hunted around with my insurance payout and extra cash from selling my old one and landed on a new to me 2011 Laramie QC dually Auto 4x4 with 100K on the clock. Can't complain... I only had to pony up ~$10K and got the truck for $29,700 in excellent shape. It, like my old one, was a one owner AZ truck so not a speck of rust anywhere.
Now, I get to learn all about the 6.7 and emissions crap (can't easily delete due to emissions checks here in AZ).
What should I know about the truck? I have an appt on Monday for the ball joint and fuel heater recalls. I'm poking around the 4th Gen forums to learn, any pointers are appreciated.
