Digging up an old post, but I had this same problem on my '12 model. Problem would go away when you turned truck off and left no codes. Dealer did an updated reflash, no help. It did it one day and I was just down the road from the dealer so I drove it there without turning it off so they could see it doing it. They plugged it up and found all my transmission pressures were high by about 10-11 points. They reset it but it did it again within a week. They contacted STAR and were advised to change the valve body to a newer updated one. That was back in the early summer, and it has been fine ever since the valve body swap. I've put almost 20k on it since then.

The dealer was supposed to put a valve body in but never called when it came in. When I called they said they was busy and would call when they had an opening. Never did. Since then it hasn't shifted hard at all. I've put about 6,000 miles on it. I now have all the deletes done and straight five inch exhaust. If it does it again ill be taking it back to stock and getting it fixed. Thanks
