Exhaust Service Required

New to this...I have a 2011 Ram Laramie 2500 Diesel. Stock, no modifications 89k miles. Have an Exhaust Service Required- see dealer now on the EIC. What is this and how is it repaired?

It's about $1500.00!!!
Had the same issue. EGR is all mucked up!!

This pic makes me cringe.... that is definitely not healthy. I wanna send it to the wonderful EPA with a note saying here is the only damage being done by our trucks, bet you can't find a single lung like this just from our trucks
