DEF Headache
My truck coded the other day...P2201. Turns out I need a new SCR and DEF injector nozzle as well as dropping the DEF tank to empty it. I wondered why the DEF gauge kept showing 100% so long. All this I suspect is the result of the truck not being driven for weeks in hot weather and compromising the DEF. Medical issues kept me grounded and now my truck is sick.
It seems the new emissions work great if your truck is on the road a lot, but not so much if it sits around. From now on I will keep a small amount of DEF in the tank.

Keeps me very busy, I have never been this backed up with work since 2007 when the 6.7 first came out. Now I have 3.0 Eco diesels issues on top of the 6.7 SCR issues. Life is good.

My '14 has 83K and I'm just about ready to pull the trigger and get it deleted. I'm on my third catalytic converter. Every problem I've encountered with this truck is with the DEF system. Absolutely 0 other problems.

While my 11 is def free, I do own other rigs and big rigs that take it and let me tell you- they all start having issues after 100k or so, bad heaters, corroded level sensors, corroded nozzles & pumps are pretty common
Even farm machinery has this crap now

I have a friend with a 2014. He deleted at 10,000 miles after several trips to the dealership due to the sensors on the exhaust system. He never has been back to see them since and he has 150,000 miles on it.
His only regret was not doing it sooner.

I believe my only regret will be the same as your friends.
I'm calling tomorrow to schedule an appointment with a reputable company to delete her. Could I do it myself? Yes. Will I do it myself? No.
Too many variables for me to attempt. Delete the EGR, add 5" exhaust and fool the ECM. No tuner, just a fooler. Personally I don't need a tuner. I don't race, I don't off road. I pull my camper and other equipment. That's it.
