Cant believe this goes back into engine....
i thought this was interesting.
I thought i would share my findings when i deleted the EGR system on my truck.
I never expected to see this when I started taking stuff off.
one of the butterfly valve was unable to open due to the amount of soot.
The other two pictures show the ports partially clogged with soot.
Its hard for me to believe that this stuff actually does back into the eingine.
if they want better emmissions on diesels, there has to be a better way to achieve this than with what they are using now....
even the urea seems like a bandaid just to meet emmissions...

that butterfly is normally in the closed position just as pictured.
