if you look at your fuel economy bar on the bottom of the screem. You will be getting about 4 mpg

X2. If you turn off your truck and it is in the middle of a regen you will hear crackling sound and your exhaust will smell funny.

tpollon2 is right, I tow everyday and every now and then I shut the truck off and the exhaust smells hot and the fuel mileage takes a huge dump, Still a better truck than a D-max

trust me the crackling sound is worse when it comes with a stray burning smoke under the truck.

Ok, that helps, hate to say it but currently the poor truck is just a daily, in town, driver with no load so watching the gas mileage does not help. its 0-30MPG depending on if I'm at a light or costing up to a light :P
computer avg 12.4mpg 99% city

I will have to try and listen a little more for the crackling in the exhaust when i get home.

Easter weekend I'm hoping to go pick up our new 5th wheel (700mi trip out) so i will have a better chance to see a Regen in the MPG as I'm driving.

Mine went into regen on the hwy about every 120 miles, stayed in it for about 20 miles.
Mileage went down to about 11 or 12 MPG while it was going on.

Smarty took care of that....
