Aisin programming updates available from Ram

I took my truck in to the dealer they other day and asked them to check to see if there were any ECM or TCM programing updates available. The dealer called me and said that there was one available for the Aisin tranny that fixes many of the issues commonly reported with this tranny....mine had about every one of them. Anyhow, here is a pic of everything the reprogram fixes.

Does it seem better now? I am experiencing some of those.

It smoothed a lot of things out on my sons 2013 Aisin, I would say get it done for sure.

Very much so yes! Not only does it shift appropriately, my mpg has gone up even on winter diesel. The truck also feels more responsive and quicker. Like I mentioned in my original post, I was experiencing about every one of the listed issues.

Just had the TCM re-flashed on the 9th. It did help a little with the shifting from 1st to 2nd, but most of my problems was a loss of power between the shifts and after coming to a stop and trying to restart fast it would just sit for a second before it would go. Not good in traffic, if you know what I mean.

Read a post here about the Mass Air Flow Sensor not throwing a code when bad. Past that on to the Dealer who just said What?

Going to find that post and take it to the dealer. Really don't want to pay 200+ dollars for the aftermarket fix if in fact its true.

Ref my post on 10 January. Went to the dealer about the shifting with the 69RC after the reflash in January. Still have the momentary lost of power between 1st and second. want appeared to me to be multiple shifts or hesitation while in 3rd gear was, I'm told, was the computer locking up the torque converter. Sure felt like it was hesitating in that gear. This issue was seen mostly when not towing.
