tranny and transfercase broke in half
Comming home last nite my 2009 5500 C/C stopped moving. Got out and found that tne transfer case had broken off the transmision. 101833 kms on the truck, less than a year old. Last month it needed a rear universal jiont, dodge couldn't get one for a week and a half and told me it would be okay to continue driving it. It had a real bad shake around 100km/hr. My guess is this is what caused the trouble. Anybody ever have something effed up like this happen?

Guess not. Well now I am stuck trying to find a truck to haul 25,000 lbs of mink feed up here on sunday

No problems like that yet (knock on wood).. I'll give it a good look over at the oil change tomorrow..
