Edge Insight Monitor - anyone have one installed on CC?

I am considering purchasing the Edge Insight Monitor for my 2008 4500 truck. Does anyone here have one for their Chassis Cab truck? Does it work with the CC trucks?

I sent an email to Edge to ask this question, but they did not really answer it for me. My main concern is does the Edge Insight work with the CC since the pickup and CC engins are slightly different.

I know their tuner product does NOT work with CC.

Any feed back would be appreciated.

Its works fine, when you first plug it in all alarms go off because of the different emission system but just go to the menu and turn off the alarm for that parameter.

Cummins610,
I just placed an order for the Edge Insight and a dash pod mount. How did you run your cable down to the ODBII plug? Is there some way to pull the dash out and snake the wire behind the dash? Or did you just leave it dangle in front of the dash?

While reading the long PDF instructions link, it seems (like you said), you just plug in the unit to the ODBII, turn the truck to ON (not Start), and begin programming the backlight colors, the number of function displays you want, data logger parameters, and alerts. What data log parameters and what alerts did you set for your truck? Did you program these on the Insight itself or did you connect the unit to your PC and program the parameters and alerts there?

I don't really know what pod you got,if it mounts on the pillar you will have enough room to snake it down the pillar into the dash(i believe that i removed that side panel of the dash but it was a while ago). I updated it on my computer but set the parameters on the unit in the truck. If you got the pillar mount you will need to cut it a bit to accept the larger plug of the insite.
