I bought my Megacab and my previous Nissan Titan without driving either one, but they were both new. The Titan I never even saw until it was delivered to my office.

I had one lined up to buy via ebay, told him I wanted him to take it to the local dealership for them to looked it over. Never heard from him again. But yes I would buy if I had someone I could trust look at it, however I would still have the right to refuse when I came to pick it up.

Bought my truck of ebay.I spent a few months looking to buy a 2wd under a 100.000 miles, finally found one in Texas. Was being sold by a five star dealer, paid my money and waited two months for it to arrive in the UK.Would be careful about buying privately but from a five star Dodge dealer I would not think you would have many problems.

My brother and I both have bought vehicles off EBay. My brother has bought five that I can think of right now (there’s probably more). All of the purchases have gone smoothly with no disappointments. Having said that, there is a large potential for things to go wrong. Do your research and trust your instincts. If you get a bad feeling about the vehicle or person selling it, there is probably a reason for it. We’ve had a lot of fun making cross country road trips to pick up vehicles. Good luck in your search.

I helped a buddy buy 2 Chevy duallies sight unseen on Ebay (he is a chevy guy). The first was a 97 out of Ft. Worth and even though the truck wasn't spectacular, it was great for the money and he didn't lose much when he sold it a few years later. The second one was an '01 Duramax 4X from a diff Ft Worth dealer. That one was a great buy and he is still driving it. I myself bought a twin turbo Toyota Supra out of St. Louis sight unseen on Ebay 4 years ago and still love and drive the car. The cool part of picking up that car was that I pulled it back to Ohio with my buddy's '01 ebay duramax and it didn't even know the car was there.

So yeah, if check your seller thoroughly, I think ebay is great for buying a vehicle. No bad experiences here.

I can't believe I'm admitting this...

My dad bought a '97 3500 brand new (cab & chas...) That truck was FLAWLESS for 9+ years.

Dad passed a couple of years ago so it became mine. This spring I took her to be put down and, brought home a new puppy, metaphorically speaking. (<- I think that is a metaphor )

Anyway, I realized that I hadn't test drove the new one as soon as I put the key in the ignit.. leaving the dealership. No big deal.

BUT... The first time I had the hood up it dawned on me I hadn't looked under there yet and, that was about 15 days after I got it.

I felt pretty silly at first but, then I realized..as long as they hadn't pulled some kinda switch-a-roo at the dealership and there was a shiny new 5.9L in there. I didn't have anything to worry about! (I did check all the vitals before I closed the hood..ha ha)

got mine out of Indiana without driving it. I had seen numerous pics of it. I would definitly do it again if i trusted the dealer and what not. The only thing that kinda sucked when i did it was 3 things...

1. Said it had 17 miles, when i got it, it had over 300miles
2. They didnt ship it to me with the floor mats like it was supposed to have
3. Some one stole the Dang coin holder out of the console!

Other then that I absolutely love my truck and got a GREAT deal. It arrived in excellent condition. Everything i could have dreamed of.

I bought my 68 GTO w/o driving it. I had a friend work on it(who owns his own shop) and he said it was worth every penny. Other than that I allways drive the trucks.

Bought mine new with no test drive. Sales guy was surprised until I told I've wanted a CTD since dodge has had them. then he said I was his easiest sales ever.

But used? Never.

New - as long as you know what they are like to begin with. Just bought my new Corvette and didn't even sit in it before I paid for it.

Used - I would want to drive it first.

Buyer beware but I have bought 2 new vehicles without driving them, 2 mustangs (which were too good of a deal to pass up on 2 occasions), and a motorcycle that was shipped from Michigan... The bike was also one of those too good of a deal to pass up things.
