My truck would only recirculate on the first position and only though the center vents, not the floor and center. The dealer had the truck for a day and came back to me with: 1. low refrigerant level would blow warm at stops on the way home , they undercharged it after servicing it. why??? 2. informed me that there were three recirculation positions, one between the two. 3. that they checked all the doors and all was working 4. that it is normal for there to be a " like 12 deg. diferance between the passenger and drivers side". ( I didnt ask about that, as this forum has already let me know about that ) On the second visit I asked the service manager to address same issues and he needed the truck for a few days; so I just bought a new hvac control consol and now it all works nice. I think I saved some money it was only $130. and I assume I would have spent that in fuel and all the lost time waiting for them to hire a technition. I am a tech myself for 12 years and didnt have to spend time to figure this out, 10 min to put it in. Sorry if Im hard to follow or it sounds like a comp out to just fix it but I do not trust a shop like that.. 5 star dealer means what?
