Wiring through firewall?

Where have you found a good spot to run wires through the firewall. I jsut finished hooling up the reverse switched portion of my KC Backup lights. I want to get the switch hooked up soon. This afternoon, I looked from the engine compartment but didn't really see what I thought would be a good spot.

TIA
Carl

since you have a auto trans there should be a hole where the clutch pedal would go through the firewall that would be the easiest spot, I would think.

Thats what I did. Used a 1" hole saw to cut through the plate, then put a rubber grommet in to prevent chafing of the wires. Will seal it off with silicone once im done running stuff through there

There is already a big hole that the hood release goes thru. Just cut a hole in the grommet and then silicone it once the wire is run.

I also run all my gauge, controller and other wiring through a hole drilled in the clutch hole cover.

I just put a slit in the grommet for the hood release and ran all my wires through there. I have harnesses for my light switches, exhaust brake switch, Commander, and Xzillaraider all run through the same spot.

Well I have stuffed mine with a lot of other things since the picture was taken. I had to take a dremel tool and enlarge the opening for the last gauge wiring harness.
