Hi guys,
I need your help, I tried to start my truck yesterday and would not start. I put the key in and the dash lights came on but would not turn over or anything. I noticed that the remote would not work on either one. I had the truck towed to the dealer with my extended warranty and they said I needed a wireless control module, 2 new keys, and the warranty would not cover that part. I have 70073 miles with the basic extended warranty but does not cover that part. I have talk to two other people that have said that thee original keys should be fine and that it may just need to resynche the modules by removing the batteries for a 12 hour period or so because I had the batteries replaced 3 weeks ago and that made have caused some of the problem that the resynche would fix.
I have no idea what I just said so I hope you understand and that you could shed some light on my problem. The dealer wants about $1000.00 and change to fix.
