Question windows rattling

The two front windows(only the front passenger and driver) have a subtle rattle when opened any where from a half inch up to six inches or so, if i put my hand against the glass the rattle goes away. This may not be the biggest deal in the world but annoys the hell out me and sounds really cheap; has anyone else had this happen to their rigs?

I have the same thing on my 2004.5. My rattle isn't constant but kind of sounds like the windows shift in their tracks if I hit a bump. I took it to the dealer and he said he has had several complaints about this. Said the windows are hitting the plastic edge of the side mirrors.

Nothing he could do about it until DC comes up with a fix. Of course, by then, I will be out of my warranty. I will probably take a dremel to the plastic edge to gind it down away from the glass.

Thanks for the tip, I'll do some looking around today and see what I can figure out.

If it's because of interaction with the mirrors I read about TSB fix last year. Something about putting a washer in the mirror. I think it is easy to do.

i guess it didn't fix its self... weathers been wet, so i've been driving with the windows cracked, and yep, the rattle in the pass side window is still there..., but much less than it was before it seems
